CHOOSE LIFE

A child is a gift from God!

Jeremiah 1:5 says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..."

Psalm 139:13-14 says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my Mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made..."

Life on this earth begins at conception; when God forms a new little person in his/her Mother's womb. That little person is not a blob of tissue, he or she has a soul.

Exodus 20:13 says, Thou shalt not kill.

ABORTION IS MURDER!

Adoption Awareness Month

November is Adoption Awareness Month. It's a great opportunity to raise awareness about the miracle of adoption and the hundreds of thousands of children all over the world in foster care and/or orphanages waiting for forever homes. If you or someone you love has been blessed by adoption, praise the Lord.

A Praise to God

My best friend's daughter was pregnant with her first child. She was due August 24, 2010. At 22 weeks and a day, she went into labor and her amniotic fluid was leaking. Her regular OB was unable to come to the hospital right away so his associate came. He told the mom-to-be that this was not a viable pregnancy and he could give her a pill to cause her to go ahead and have the baby (in other words, ABORT the baby) who would not survive and they could try again later. She and her husband were devastated, but were determined. A nurse came in to find them very distraught and ask them what was going on. She immediately got her regular OB to come to the phone. He ordered an ultrasound and it showed that there was nothing wrong with the baby. In just a few minutes after this doctor arrived at the hospital and viewed the results of the ultrasound, the mom-to-be was on her way to a larger hospital with a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The doctor she saw there was a god-send. He immediately went to work to stop the labor, even though her fluid was leaking there was still enough in her womb to support the baby. She laid flat of her back in that hospital for four more weeks before she when into labor a final time and the doctors could not stop it. At 26 weeks, on Tuesday, May 18th at 7:00pm the baby was delivered. He weighed a mere 2lbs 2oz and was only 13" long. He is still in the NICU, but doing well. He has a long road ahead of him, but he is going to be just fine.

I am so thankful that God intervened in this situation. I am thankful that a young, scared pregnant woman and her husband didn't follow the first doctor's advice to abort him. As I walked down the long hall of the hospital to get to the NICU to see him for the first time, I saw numerous pictures of babies born at all different stages of their mother's pregnancy, (many much earlier than my friend's daughter) who survived and thrived.

Abortion takes lives, not just blobs of tissue. Please spread the word that ABORTION IS MURDER! If you don't want a child, use some form of contraceptive. If you do find yourself pregnant and don't want the baby, please give it a chance with someone who does, instead of killing it before it is even born.

My Daughter-in-law

My Daughter-in-law is having her first baby, due November 29, 2010. She went for her first appointment with the OB doctor yesterday. At seven weeks pregnant, she was able to hear a very strong, very fast heartbeat. It was awesome!

Abortions happen every day by women who are at seven weeks and further along. Tell me that aborting a fetus that has a heartbeat is not murder.

Witness the Miracle of Life

In 1965, Lennart Nilsson electrified the world when LIFE magazine published his photographs of a living human embryo. Over four decades later, Nilsson returns with extraordinary images ecompassing a full human lifespan.

Using state-of-the-art imaging equipment, Nilsson reveals the interior form of the entire human body and its intricate workings, from conception to birth. No less astonishing are the images taken following birth: Blood vessels in the heart...rods and cones in the eye...and more.

It's unlike anything ever before captured on Film. You can find this extraordinary book called "Life" by Lennart Nilsson at http://www.crossings.com/ or at most book stores.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's
womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works
are wonderful, I know that full well." -- Psalm 139:13-14 (NIV)

When Does Life Begin

The tiny feet of a 10 week old fetus

When Does Life Begin?

Many internationally-known geneticists and biologists have testified that human life begins at conception. In 1981 (April 23-24) a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee held hearings on the very question: When does human life begin? Following are testimonies from two of the doctors who testified:

1. Dr. Hymie Gordon, Chairman of the Department of Genetics at the Mayo Clinic, said: "By all the criteria of modern molecular biology, life is present from the moment of conception."

2. Dr. McCarthy de Mere, a medical doctor and law professor at the University of Tennessee, testified: "The exact moment of the beginning of personhood and of the human body is at the moment of conception."

"The Father of Modern Genetics" Testifies

Dr. Jerome Lejeune, known as "The Father of Modern Genetics," also testified that human life begins at conception before the Louisiana Legislature's House Committee on the Administration of Criminal Justice on June 7, 1990.

Dr. Lejeune explained that within three to seven days after fertilization we can determine if the new human being is a boy or a girl. "At no time," Dr. Lejeune said, "is the human being a blob of protoplasm. As far as your nature is concerned, I see no difference between the early person that you were at conception and the late person which you are now. You were, and are, a human being."

Dr. Lejeune also pointed out that each human being is unique -- different from the mother -- from the moment of conception. He said, "Recent discoveries by Dr. Alec Jeffreys of England demonstrate that this information [on the DNA molecule] is stored by a system of bar codes not unlike those found on products at the supermarket...it's not any longer a theory that each of us is unique."

Dr. Jerome Lejeune died on April 3, 1994. Dr. Lejeune of Paris, France was a medical doctor, a Doctor of Science and a professor of Fundamental Genetics for over twenty years. Dr. Lejeune discovered the genetic cause of Down Syndrome, receiving the Kennedy Prize for the discovery and, in addition, received the Memorial Allen Award Medal, the world's highest award for work in the field of Genetics. He practiced his profession at the Hôpital des Enfants Malades (Sick Children's Hospital) in Paris. Dr. Lejeune was a member of the American Academy of the Arts and Science, a member of the Royal Society of Medicine in London, The Royal Society of Science in Stockholm, the Science Academy in Italy and Argentina, The Pontifical Academy of Science and The Academy of Medicine in France.

Baby at 8 Weeks - Consider this Doctor's Testimony

Statement by Paul E. Rockwell, M.D.:
"Eleven years ago while giving an anesthetic for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy (at 8 weeks gestation), I was handed what I believe was the smallest living human ever seen. The embryonic sac was intact and transparent. Within the sac was a tiny human male swimming extremely vigorously in the amniotic fluid, while attached to the wall by the umbilical cord. This tiny human was perfectly developed, with long, tapering fingers, feet and toes. It was almost transparent, as regards the skin, and the delicate arteries and veins were prominent to the ends of the fingers."

Dr. Rockwell continues, "The baby was extremely alive and swam about the sac approximately one time per second, with a natural swimmer's stroke. This tiny human did not look at all like the photos and drawings and models of 'embryos' which I had seen, nor did it look like a few embryos I have been able to observe since then, obviously because this one was alive! When the sac was opened, the tiny human immediately lost his life and took on the appearance of what is accepted as the appearance of an embryo at this stage of life (with blunt extremities etc.)."

The statement by Paul E. Rockwell, M.D., an anesthesiologist, was quoted by Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Willke in their Handbook on Abortion.

MISSIONS

We have a mission field right in our own hometown. What is the mission? To Save the unborn babies. Want to help?

1. If you know of someone who is considering an abortion, stop them. They will not only be taking a human life, which is murder, they will also ruin their life. Young girls don't realize the emotional problems that come, even later in life, from having an abortion.

2. If you have any information that you feel will be helpful to add to this site, please e-mail them to me at yahwehsistermail@aol.com

3. Pray diligently that people will start to realize that "Abortion is Murder" in any stage of a pregnancy.

4. Speak out about pro-life options as often as you can.

WELCOME!

Welcome to "Save the Unborn Babies" blog. Our mission is to save as many unborn babies as possible through educating and guiding others about the detriment of abortion and giving them other options, such as foster parenting and adoption. This "thing" that grows in a woman's womb is not just a "fetus". It is a tiny, God-given life that has a soul before it's heart is even formed. Abortion at any stage of pregnancy is MURDER! Please help save the unborn babies - spread the word!

The bible is very direct about life in the mother's womb:

Lu:1:42 says: "And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art
thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." Babies are a
gift from God. Blessed are the babies that are the fruit of thy womb!

Eccles:11:15 says: "Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the
mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things." It is an awesome and wonderful mystery as a tiny baby grows inside the womb of it's mother. God made all things wonderful and many of them we cannot understand.

Jeremiah:1:15says: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb...
God knew YOU before He formed you in your mother's womb. Your soul was alive before your flesh was planted in your mother's womb.
